As every Ramadan, Apex Mosque will be offering Itikaf during the last ten nights. This is a special opportunity for spiritual retreat, reflection, and devotion. Below, you will find the guidelines, schedule, and registration form to ensure a smooth and rewarding experience for all attendees. We encourage everyone to review the rules and register in advance. May Allah accept our worship and bless us all during these sacred nights.

Key Dates to Remember

The I’tikaf will begin Monday, March 9, 2026, after Maghrib Prayer & will continue until Thursday, March 19, 2026 after Maghrib.

Age Requirements

Itikaf is open to individuals 18 and older.
Youth aged 15-17 may participate but must be accompanied by a parent.
Children under 15 are not permitted to attend.

Mandatory Registration

Registration is required for all attendees—no exceptions. Due to limited spots, registration will close once capacity is reached. Sign up early to secure your place.

Rules and Regulations

Attendees of I’tikaf must follow the program, adhere to the schedule, and fully cooperate with the I’tikaf team all times.

Please bring personal items such as sleeping bags, blankets, pillows, and toiletries (soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrush, towels, etc.), as Apex Mosque will not provide these.

During program times, participants must keep the musalla clear of any luggage.

Lights will be turned off for sleeping from 7:30 - 10:30 AM, midnight - 3:30 AM, and during break times. Please be considerate and avoid disturbing others who wish to rest. If you wish to perform extra nawafil during these times, do so quietly.

All main doors will be locked between midnight and 3:30 AM. Please arrive on time, and note that if you leave the premises during these hours, you will not be allowed to re-enter until the mutakifin are awake.

Suhoor and Iftar will be provided for all I’tikaf attendees. Shower facilities are available for both brothers and sisters.

We strongly encourage all brothers and sisters to fully cooperate with the I’tikaf team.

Registration is mandatory and must be completed using the online form.

Any exceptions to the above must be reviewed and approved in advance by the I’tikaf team.
